CHAPTER 129.
An act to confirm an act passed at November session
eighteen hundred and eleven entitled, "An act to
alter the time of the meeting of the General As-
sembly of this State and for other purposes. "

22, 1812.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That an act entitled, "An act to alter
the time or the meeting of the General Assembly of
this State and for other purposes, " be, and it is here-
by confirmed and made valid to every intent and pur-
pose therein mentioned.

CHAPTER 130.

Act of 1811

confirmed.

An act annulling the marriage of Jerome Bonaparte,
and Elizabeth Bonaparte of the city of Balti-
more.

Passed Dec.
15, 1812.

BE IT EN ACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the marriage of the said Jerome
Bonaparte, and Elizabeth Bonaparte of the city of
Baltimore, heretofore solemnized, be, and the same
is hereby declared to be absolutely, to all intents and
purposes null and void; and the said Jerome Bona-
parte and Elizabeth Bonaparte, are declared to be

nulled.

divorced, a vinculo matrimonii: Provided neverthe-
less, That nothing in this act contained shall be con

strued to illegitimate the child born of the said Je-
rome and Elizabeth Bonaparte, any law to the con-
trary notwithstanding.

CHAPTER 131.

Proviso.

An act authorising Thomas Saulsbury late sheriff
and collector of Caroline county to complete his
collection.

Passed Dec.
16, 1812.

SEC. 1. BE IT ENACTED by the General As-
sembly of Maryland, That the said Thomas Sauls-
bury be, and he is hereby authorised and empowered
to collect until the first day of January eighteen hun-
dred and fourteen, all balances due him as sheriff and
collector of Caroline county, in the same manner as
he could or might have done within the time limited
by law, any law to the contrary notwithstanding.

Collection-
extended to
Jan. 1, 1814.

9. AND BE IT ENACTED, That it shall be
the duty of the said Thomas Saulsbury, before he
proceeds to execute or distrain the property of any
person or persons for public dues in virtue of this

act, to deliver to such person or persons chargeable
