town of East New Market, in relation to restricting the sale of in-

George's county, to close a street or alley in said village.

286. An act to authorise the exchange of part of the public lot

288. An act to alter and amend the act, entitled an act to au-
thorise the governor of Maryland to appoint an inspector of flour
for the town of Cumberland, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-five, chapter two hundred and ten.

289. An act to incorporate the church extension society of the
Methodist Episcopal church in the city of Baltimore and pre-
cincts.

290. An act to authorise the Baltimore Coal company incorpor-
ated by the acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, passed in the
year eighteen hundred and forty-five, chapter one hundred and
thirty-seven, and the year eighteen hundred and fifty-three, chap-
ter twenty, to fix the par value of the shares of the capital stock of
said company at a less sum than one hundred dollars.

291. An act to authorise Thomas Johnson, Sr., of Worcester
county to introduce into this State, and hold certain negro slaves.
