ficer, director or servant of said corporation has been
guilty of any fraud or misconduct, may remove such
person or persons and make further order and take such
further measures for securing the funds and property of
said corporation as the said court shall deem expedient.

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to incorporate the Half Dime Savings Bank
of Baltimore.

Incorporated.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Philip Francis Thomas, George
W. Hughes, William George Baker, Alfred D. Miller,
Benjamin Deford, Camillus Kidder, William Chesnut,
Edward V. Ward, Richard Lilly, John Morris, Thom-
as H. Sullivan, Noah Walker, Thomas Creamer, John
S. Farlow, John D. Danels, Adam Denmead, Hugh
Bolton, Author McCrouts, Thomas A. Cunningham
and Pleasant Hunter, and all and every other person
or persons hereafter becoming members of the Half
Dime Savings Bank of Baltimore, in the manner here-
inafter mentioned, shall be, and they are hereby crea-
ted and made a corporation and body politic, by the
name and style of the Half Dime Savings Bank of
Baltimore, and by that name shall have perpetual suc-
cession, and be capable by law to hold property, sue
and be sued, plead and be impleaded, answer, defend,
and be answered, in courts of law and equity, and in
any other place whatsoever, and to receive and make
all deeds, transfers, contracts, conveyances and grants
whatsoever, and to make, have and use a common
seal, and generally to do every other act or thing neces-
