lating to the business of said company from officers and
agents in their employment, and may also dismiss any
president, director, officer or agents, and appoint others
in their stead.

Vested rights.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That for the purposes of
enabling the said company to transport the produce of
their mines to market, the said company and the presi-
dent and directors thereof shall be, and they are hereby
invested, with all and singular the rights, powers, priv-
ileges, authorities, immunities and advantages for pur-
chasing or condemning or right of way for a rail road,
surveying, locating, establishing and constructing a rail
road and its necessary appurtenances, which by the act
incorporating the Baltimore and Ohio rail road company
and its several supplements, were for the lawful put-
poses of said company, and the benefit of its corporators
given and granted to the said company, as fully and
perfectly as if the same were herein again repeated, be-
ginning the same at the mines of the said company and
running to a convenient point or points on the line of
any other rail road or roil roads now constructed or that
may hereafter be constructed in Allegany county, and
for the useing, preserving and controlling the said rail
road, its necessary vehicles and appurtenances and eve-
ry part thereof, or borrowing money on the credit of
said company for its lawful purposes.

Construction
of act.

SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That this act shall not
be construed to give to said company any banking priv-
ileges, or any right to issue any bank note or notes or
certificates of deposit, payable to bearer, or small notes
for circulation of any kind whatsoever.

Reservation.

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the Legislature of
Maryland shall have the right and power at all times
hereafter, to change, alter or repeal, all or any part of
this act.

In force.

SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this act shall be in
force from and after its passage.
