no practical benefit to said county; and whereas,
certain repairs are being made to the court house of
said county, requiring the expenditure of a large
sum of money, the said commissioners recommend
the employment of the said fund in part payment of
the cost of said repairs; Therefore,

Authority to
apply funds.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the county commissioners of Prince
George's county, be and they are hereby authorised
and empowered to use and apply the tobacco fund of
said county in port payment of the cost of repairs now
being made to the court house of said county, or for
such other county purposes as they in their judgment
may deem proper.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to authorise the Trustees of Primary School
District number one in Queen Anne's county, to levy
on the assessable property of that portion of School
District number six of Caroline county, which was
united with the Primary School District number one in
Queen Anne's county, and to appoint a collector for
said tax, and to require the Orphans Court of Caro-
line county, to determine the proportion of school
fund due that portion of said School District in Caro-
line county, and to pay over the same to the Trustees
of Primary School District number one in Queen
Anne's county.
