SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the primary school
district which may be laid off and created under the
provisions of this act, shall be included in the number
of primary school districts of the county, and the or-
phans court and circuit court of the county shall exer-
cise jurisdiction, management and control over said
new school district, and shall extend to said school dis-
trict all the benefits and advantages, and pay over to
the trustees thereof such equal proportion or sum of mo-
ney as such school district may be entitled to, upon the
trustees thereof complying with the regulations and pro-
visions applying to the trustees of other primary schools
in the county, in the same manner and by the same
means as if said new school district had been created
under the former laws for the establishment of primary
schools in Charles county.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the dale of its passage.

A SUPPLEMENT to an act entitled, an act to incor-
porate the Howard Street Savings Bank, of Balti-
more, and to the act supplementary thereto.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Howard Street Savings Bank
shall be known by the name and style of the Howard
Bank, and shall under the name and style of the How-
ard Bank, have and enjoy all and singular the rights,
powers, privileges and immunities which said bank
might or could have held and enjoyed under or in the
said name of the Howard Street Savings Bank by vir-
tue of the original act incorporating the same, or of the
act supplementary thereto, excepting, however, so
much thereof as may by this act be altered or repealed.
