CHAPTER 1.
AN ACT to provide for Holding a Special Term of
the Circuit Court for Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Circuit judge of the eighth ju-
dicial circuit be, and he is hereby authorised, to hold a
term of the Circuit Court for Somerset county, to com-
mence on Tuesday the twenty-seventh day of January,
eighteen hundred and fifty-two.

Special term.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said court at
the said special term, shall have power and authority to
try and determine according to law, any indictments,
presentments, appeals, civil causes, or other business of
any description remaining undetermined, on the dockets
of Somerset county court, at the time of the qualification
of the circuit judge of the eighth Judicial circuit.
