place for electing officers, to be provided for by the by-
laws of the company; each stockholder shall be en-
titled to one vote for each share of slock he shall hold
up to five shares; to four votes for the next five; to
three voles for the third five; to two votes for the fourth

any larger amount of stock than this, he shall not be
entitled to an additional vote.

AN ACT to provide for the inspection of Lime in
Baltimore county, at Clarksville, and its vicinity,
which is not sent to the city of Baltimore.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That lime manufactured at Clarksville,
in Baltimore county, within the limits prescribed in the
act of eighteen hundred and forty-seven, chapter two
hundred and fifty-one, the inspection of which is not
already provided for by law, shall be inspected and mea-
sured by the inspector and corder of wood, at the same
place, in the manner, and for the fees to be collected
from the manufacturer thereof, provided for the inspec-

tion of the same in Baltimore city; Provided, that for
measuring and inspecting agricultural lime he shall re-
ceive but one-eighth of one cent per bushel, and shall
distinguish the same into first quality, second quality,
and condemned, as the nature of the case may require;
And provided further, that nothing in this act shall ap-
ply to lime sent into the city of Baltimore, or manufac-
tured for home consumption.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That any person violat-
ing this act shall be subject to a penally of ten dollars
for each and every offence, to be collected as other small
debts are; and that this act shall take effect from the
day of its passage.
