CHAPTER 18.

CHAP. 19.

AN ACT to authorize the Courts for Baltimore
County to hold their Sittings within the limits of
the City of Baltimore.

Passed Feb.
27, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That in order to carry into effect the
intention set forth in the proviso, contained in the
eighth section of the fourth article of the constitution,
the Circuit Court for Baltimore county and the Or-
phans' Court for said county, may hold their respec-
tive sittings within the limits of the city of Baltimore,
until provision shall be made by law for the location

of a county seat within the limits of the said county
proper, and the erection of a court-house and all other
appropriate buildings, for the convenient administration

of justice in said courts.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That, this act shall take
effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 19.

In force.

AN ACT to authorise the Vestry of Emanuel Pa-
rish, to divide into Burial Lots the parcel of land
owned by it, known as the Rose Hill Cemetery, and
to sell the same, and issue certificates of title there-
for.

26, 1852.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly

of Maryland, That the parcel of land, owned by the
vestry of Emanuel Parish, known as the Rose Hill
Cemetery, at Cumberland, be laid off into lots for the
interment of the dead, of sizes and shapes, at the dis-
cretion of said vestry, to be separately numbered, &c.,
and that a plot of said cemetery, showing the location

of said lots, the walks and other features of said ce-
metery, be made out. and preserved by the said vestry, and
that said vestry may sell at its discretion any of said
lots; at public or private sale, from time to time, as op-
portunity offers; and that a certificate under the seal
of the said vestry, of the ownership of any of the
said lots, shall have the same effect in all respects, as
any deed of conveyance from said vestry of such lots
