And whereas, The title to the said property may be
called in question to his great injury from his not hav-
ing been naturalized agreeably to the laws of the
United-States before acquiring said property: There-
fore,

1811.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the said Robert D. Allen's title to all
lots or parcels of land by him purchased before his
naturalization, shall be as good and effectual in law, as
if the said Robert D. Allen had been naturalized be-
fore the purchase thereof; Provided always, That no-
thing herein contained shall in any manner defeat or
affect any right, title or claim to the said property, or
any part thereof lawfully acquired by any person or
persons whomsoever, before the passage of this act.

Title shall be
effectual under
a certain provi-
sion.

CHAPTER 84.

 

An act for the relief of John Fisher, of Caroline
county.

Passed Dec. 27,
1811.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges, or any one judge of
Caroline county court be, and they, or any of
them are hereby authorised and directed to extend to
John Fisher, the benefit and relief of the act of assem-
bly passed at November session eighteen hundred and
five, entitled, " An act for the relief of sundry insol-
vent debtors, " and the several supplements thereto,
without compelling him to produce the assent of two
thirds, in amount,. of his creditors; and to extend and
afford to the said John Fisher, all the benefits, advan-
tages and provisions of the aforesaid act and the sup-
plements thereto, in the same manner and upon the
same terms and conditions, as if he had obtained the
assent of two thirds of his creditors, to his release un-
der the same.

CHAPTER 85.

An act for the relief of John Buffum, of the
city of Baltimore.

Passed Dec. 27.
1811.

BE IT ENACTED by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the judges of Baltimore county court,
or any one of them (in the recess of said court) be,
and they are hereby authorised and directed to extend
to John Buffum, of the city of Baltimore, the benefit
of the act of assembly passed at November session
