1812.

John Boone, of Charles County, a lieutenant in the
late revolutionary army, the sum of one hundred and
twenty-five dollars annually, in quarterly payments,
out of any unappropriated money in the treasury.

No. 58.

Whereas, The journal of accounts was ordered to
be closed on Monday last, and the business of the
state has required the attendance of the members
longer than was expected: — Therefore,
Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby required to pay to each member
of the legislature, attending in the discharge of his le-
gislative duties on this day, two days allowance in
addition to what was allowed on the journal of ac-
counts; and also two days allowance to the officers of
each house.

No. 59.

Resolved; That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to pay to the governor,
or his order, the sum of one thousand dollars out of
any unappropriated money in the treasury, for the pur-
pose of furnishing the government house.

No. 60.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
be, and he is hereby directed to-pay unto Edward Ma-
hooney, late a private in the revolutionary war, or to
his order, annually, in quarterly payments, a sum of
money equal to the half pay of a private, as a further
remuneration to him for those services by which his
country has been so essentially benefited.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
pay to the Reverend Joseph Wyatt, the sum of one
hundred dollars, for his services as chaplain to the
house of Delegates the present session, out of any un-
appropriated money in the treasury.

Resolved, That the treasurer of the Western Shore
pay to John Brewer, clerk to the house of delegates
the sum of one hundred dollars; to Thomas Rogers
clerk to the senate, the sum of one hundred dollars;
to John S Skinner, assistant clerk to the house of de-
legates, the sum of one hundred dollars, and to James
G. Davis, assistant clerk to the senate, the sum of
fifty dollars, as an additional compensation for their
extraordinary services during the present session,
