CHAPTER 85.

CHAP. 87.

A supplement to the act of eighteen hundred and forty-
seven, chapter ninety-four.

Passed Feb. 7,
1850.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Thomas H. Ford shall have and exercise, until
the first day of January, eighteen hundred and fifty-
three, all the powers, privileges and authority given to
and conferred upon him, in and by the act entitled, an
act to authorise and empower Thomas H. Ford to com-
plete the collections of Andrew Johnson, deceased, late
Sheriff of Queen Anne's county, and to give him fur-
ther time to do so, passed at December session, eighteen
hundred and forty-seven, and that this act shall take
effect from and after its passage.

CHAPTER 86.

Time extended.

An act for the relief of Betsy C. Mason, of Alexandria,
in the State of Virginia.

Passed Feb. 7,
1850.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That all the privileges conferred upon Thompson F,
Mason, of Alexandria, by the act of eighteen hundred
and twenty-nine, chapter forty-eight, be and the same are
hereby extended and continued in favor of his widow,
Betsy C. Mason, and her descendants or devisees.

An act to make valid a certain deed of Mortgage there-
in mentioned.

Passed Feb. 7,
1850.

WHEREAS, a deed of mortgage from Richard C.
Tilghman to Martha T. Browne, dated on or about the
twelfth day of July, eighteen hundred and forty-eight,
has been recorded among the land records of Queen
Anne's county, in liber J T, number five, folios four hun-
dred and eighty five, and lour hundred and eighty six,
