second section of the act of eighteen hundred and
twenty-one, chapter one hundred and fifty two.
SEC. 3. And he it enacted, That the commissioners
of Cecil county are hereby authorised and required,
at their next annual levy, to levy a sum of money
upon the assessable property of Cecil county, sufficient
to pay the said damages, and all the expenses of the
commissioners appointed by this act, attending the
survey and location of said road.

CHAP. 325.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That the said commis-
sioners appointed by this act, shall make oath, before
a justice of the peace, that they will faithfully execute
the provisions of this act, and shall receive one dollar
for every day that they may attend in the execution of
this act, and shall give at least ten days notice to the
owners of the lands over which said road may pass,
before they proceed to act.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That the said road, when
located and opened, shall be deemed a public high-
way, and shall be kept in repair by the commissioners
of Cecil county aforesaid, as a public highway, in the
same manner that public roads in said county are kept
in repair.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act shall go
into operation and take effect from the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 325.

In force.

A supplement to an act entitled, an act to Incorporate
the Cumberland Savings Institution.

Passed
March 5, 1850.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That if the president and directors of the
Cumberland Savings Institution shall, on or before the
first Monday of July next, pass a resolution, authorised
at a general meeting of its stockholders, declaring its
acceptance of this act, and transmit to the Treasurer of
the State a copy of said resolution, certified under the
seal of said corporation, that the name of the Cumber-
land Savings Institution shall be and is hereby changed
to that of the Cumberland Savings Bank, with power
and authority, by that name, to have, exercise, hold and
enjoy, use and possess, all the rights and privileges that
are conferred and prescribed by the act incorporating the
