SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That from and after the passage of this
act, no consignment of tobacco, wheat, rye, corn, oats,
or any other agricultural productions whatever, by the
grower, or producer, or other owner, to any commis-
sion merchant, factor, agent, or other bailee, or con-
signee whatever, for the purposes of sale, for the use
and benefit of such grower, producer, or other owner,
shall be held, deemed, or taken to vest in such com-
