SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That if the said rail way
authorised by this act be not located within four years
from the first day of March next, and finished within
four years thereafter, the rights and privileges granted
by this act shall cease and become void.

Limit.

An act for the benefit of William H. Jones, late Col-
lector of Direct Tax for Somerset County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, That William H. Jones, late collec-
tor of direct tax for Somerset county, by himself, or any
other person or persons by him appointed for this pur-
pose, is and are hereby authorised and empowered to
collect until the first day of July, eighteen hundred and
fifty-one, the sums and balances due him as late collec-
tor of direct taxes for Somerset county, in the same
manner which the said William H. Jones could or
might have done within the time limited by law, any-
thing to the contrary notwithstanding.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the time allowed by
law to William H. Jones, late collector of direct taxes
aforesaid, to make his collections, be and the same is
extended until the first day of July, eighteen hundred
and fifty-one.
CHAPTER 251.

An act to allow Henry N. Leetch, trustee of William
H. Ward, Collector of State Taxes for the year
eighteen hundred and forty-eight, further time to
complete his collections.
