nuary 1842 not to be assessed, nor judg-

ments obtained on any bond, etc., al-

ready valued, clerks to be allowed 10

cents for each judgment returned, etc.,

to be paid by the courts, etc.,

Registers of wills, on the 1st of

March annually 1o return to levy courts

a summary account of all property ap-

pearing by records of orphans courts

in the hands of each executor, etc., and

every executor, etc., to pay the taxes

levied, etc., to be allowed by orphans

courts for all taxes paid, compensation

made by levy courts, etc.,

In all cases where discovery of pro-

perty is made by levy courts, etc., un-

der the provisions of the 7th section of

the act of 1845, chapter 203, or 12th or

13th sections of this act, or any other

way, levy court, etc., to add to the a-

mount on which levy is to be made, etc.;

in case it appear by the recital of arty

mortgage returned as aforesaid, that

there is no debt due by the mortgagee,

but was given to secure mortgagee, etc.,

as security for mortgagor on a debt, re-

cited in said mortgage, etc., then the

amount of said debt to be assessed to the

person to whom it appears to be due,

but mortgagee not to be assessed on said

mortgage unless his liability be fixed

before or at the time of said return,
