Resolution in favor of C. W. Webster, Esquire.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Librarian be authorised to, allow C. W. Web-
ster to retain the books furnished him from the library
until the first day of January eighteen hundred and
fifty, for the purpose of enabling the said Webster to
complete his Compilation of the Statute Laws of the
State of Maryland; provided, that nothing herein con-
tained shall be considered as to authorise the said Web-
ster to expect any pecuniary aid from, the State on the
completion of said work, or any subscription to the
same on the part of the State, after it shall have been
completed.

Resolution in favor of David S. Caldwell.
Resolved by the General Assembly of Maryland, That
the treasurer be and he is hereby directed to pay to the
order of David S. Caldwell the sum of twenty-five dol-
lars, out of the balance remaining in the treasury of the
appropriation made by resolution number fifty-four of
December session eighteen hundred and forty-six, in
consideration of services rendered by him under resolu-
tion number thirty-six of eighteen hundred and forty-
five.
