An act for the benefit of Primary School District num-
ber four, in Frederick county.

March 7, 1848.

That the board of inspectors of primary schools in
Frederick county, be and they are hereby authorised

and empowered, in their discretion, to pay over to the trus-
tees of primary school district number four, out of the
general school funds of the county a sufficient sum of
money, over and above their distributive share, to finish
the school house in the said school district now in the
course of erection, in place of the one destroyed by
fire.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of the school fund for Mont-

gomery county, be and they ate hereby authorised and
empowered to pay to William M. Morrison, or to his
order, the sum of seventy-four dollars and forty-one
cents, with interest thereon from the first of March eigh-
teen hundred and forty-three, the said amount to be paid
out of the school fund for Berry's district of said coun-
ty, in full for his account for books and stationary fur-
nished to the school managers of the said Berry's dis-

trict for the use of the pupils of said school; provided,
that said sum of money is in the judgment of said com-
missioners due and owing to the said William M. Mor-
rison; and provided also, that no appropriation of the
aforesaid amount has been heretofore made to any school
manager or other person, for the object contemplated in
this act.
