An act to incorporate the Wicomico and Pocomoke Rail
Road Company.

Commission-
ers appointed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Jehu Parsons, Peter Whaley, John
Dennis of Thomas, James M. Fooks, John B. Siemens,
Humphrey Humphreys, James Hooper, John White of
H., Allison C. Parsons, Lemuel Showell, senior, John
C. Derickson and Elisha Purnell, be and they are
hereby appointed commissioners under the direction of

of the Wicomico and Pocomoke rail road company

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the capital stock of
the Wicomico and Pocomoke rail road company shall
be one hundred thousand dollars in shares of twenty-
five dollars each, which said capital may be increased
at the discretion of the commissioners or the directors to

not exceeding two hundred thousand dollars, and as
soon as twenty-five hundred shares of the capital stock
shall be subscribed the subscribers of the said stock,
their successors and assigns shall be and they are hereby
declared to be incorporated into a company by the name

holding, selling, leasing and conveying estates, real,
personal and mixed, so far as shall be necessary for the
