CHAP. 128.
Banking for-
bid.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
shall be so construed as to confer any banking privi-
leges on said company.

Reservation.
|
SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That the legislature re-
serves to itself the right to alter, amend or repeal this
act at pleasure.

Vacancies—
how to be filled.
|
SEC. 7. And be it enacted, That in case of death,
disqualification or resignation of any president and di-
rector, the remaining directors and president shall fill
the vacancy until the next election.

An act to authorise the Vestry of Christ Church in Saint
John's Parish, in Harford County, to acquire certain
lands therein mentioned.

estate.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the Vestry of Christ Church in Saint John's
Parish, in Harford County, be and they hereby are author-
ised to purchase and hold to them and their successors, for
the use of said Church, a tract of land in said county,
not exceeding twenty-five acres.

Allen, the infant daughter of the Reverend John
Allen, at present residing in Worcester County,
to Ellen Ann Elzy Fontaine Ellen.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the name
of Wesleyana Elizabeth Alien, infant daughter of the
Reverend John Allen, at present a resident of Worces-
ter county, be and the same is hereby changed to the
name of Ellen Ann Elzy Fontaine Allen, and by said
name she shall hereafter be railed and known, sue and
