CHAP. 122.
Clerk to per-
form duties.
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the clerk to the com-
missioners of Allegany county shall hereafter perform
all the duties now required to be performed by the trea-
surer of said school fund, and for his services as such
shall be entitled to receive two per centum on all monies
by him paid out to trustees of schools in said county,
and which may be authorised by the county commis-
sioners.

To give bond.
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the clerk to the said
commissioners of Allegany county, shall give bond in
the same manner and under the same penalties as the
treasurer of said school fund is now required to bond.

|
School Fund
to be graduat-
ed.
|
SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That in the further dis-
tribution of the school funds by the county commission-
ers aforesaid, they shall regulate and graduate the same
in proportion to the time occupied in teaching in the
several schools as follows: to each and every school
which is kept three months in the year, there shall only
be allowed two-thirds the amount allowed to a school
kept four months in the year, and to all schools embrac-
ed in the arrangements of said county commissioners
and which shall be kept four months in the year, shall
be recognised as full schools, and receive compensation
according to the usual divisions made of said school
fund by the commissioners aforesaid.

Inconsistent
acts repealed.
|
Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of
acts inconsistent with this act, be and the same are
hereby repealed.

A supplement to the act entitled, an act relating to certain
books and records in the orphans court of Baltimore
county.
|
|
|
|
Repealed.
|
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That so much of the proviso of the first section of the act
passed at December session eighteen hundred and thir-
ty, chapter seventy, as limits the number of books or
records to be made up or transcribed as directed by that
act, be and the same is hereby repealed.
