surers, &c.

ber, &c. on the Susquehanna, opposite

said village, as far as Herring run.

Penalty of 20 dollars for measuring

without being appointed by Governor

&c.; any person may count his own

timber and put number of feet on.

No inspector to purchase and sell or

act as agent to purchase or sell any

lumber, &c., except for his own private
use; any inspector, &c. so offending, to

pay $20 for every offence, to be recov-

ered before justice, &c.
