No cause removed from any of the

counties, to be taken up for trial until all

business originating in said district,

ready for trial, &c., and which requires

a jury, shall be tried, &c.

Duty of clerk, to note upon proceed-

ings of court, the day on which the bu-

siness of the District was disposed of,

and to keep number of days employed

in trial, &c., of causes removed, &c.,

and transmit to commissioners or levy

court, &c., or the register of Baltimore,

from which causes are removed an ac-

count of legal charges, for attendance

of jurors, &c., commissioners, &c., to

to levy, &c., and pay to commissioners

of, for use of said district, &c.

INCORPORATIONS— Any individuals other than

free negroes and mulattoea, associated

for the purpose of establishing lyceums,

&c., to be considered a body politic ;

may appoint officers, enact by-laws, &c.

and compel obedience; may sue, &c., be-

fore exercising any privileges, to lodge

with the clerk of the county where as-

sociated, a copy of the articles of asso-

ciation signed by the members, to be

recorded; this act may be repealed at

any time.

ed to joint stock companies formed for

banking, &c.
