1845.

act to which this is a further supplement, to enforce the
lien of any mechanic or other person upon any building
in Howard District, and where no designation of the boun-

daries of such building has been made, as is directed by
the fourth section of said act, it shall be the duty of the
said court, upon motion by the plainfiff or his attorney, to
direct a warrant to be issued to the surveyor of Howard
District, to mark out and define the boundaries and ex-
tent of ground necessary for the convenient use of said
building fur the purposes for which it was erected.

CHAP. 42.

SEC. 2...And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty of
the surveyor of Howard District, upon the receipt of such
warrant, and upon notice to the parties or their attornies
to examine such building, or the place at which such
building is erected, and to return a report to the said
court, in which the said surveyor shall sufficiently desig-
nate and describe by metes and bounds, with their cours-
es and distances, and by a draft, if necessary, the. limits
and extent of ground necessary for the convenient use of
such building for the purposes for which it was erected,
and such report, if approved by the court, shall be conclu-
sive upon all persons concerned.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this act shall lake
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 42.

In force.

An act to authorise the Commissioners of Anne Arundel
County, to levy a sum of money for the purposes therein
mentioned.

Passed Feb.
10, 1847.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of Anne Arundel County, be au-
thorised and directed to levy the sum of one hundred and
fifty dollars, upon the assessable property of Anne Arun-
del County, to build a bridge over the head waters of
Lyons' Creek, on the road leading to Drury's Mill.
