charge at the same rates as other Turnpike Roads in this
State, and the proceeds so received, after deducting the
necessary expenses for repairs of said road, and the pay-
ment of interest on the money subscribed, which shall
not exceed six per centum, the balance, if any, shall be
paid to the Treasurer of the State of Maryland, for the
purpose of aiding to pay the State debt.

CHAP. 243.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the tights and fran-
chises granted by this act, shall cease and determine at
the expiration of the drawing of all lottery grants of this
State.

SEC. 11. And be it enacted, That any law or part of
law, being in conflict with the provisions of this act, is

SEC. 12. And be it enacted, That all such parts of the
constitution and form of government, as are inconsistent
with the provisions of this act, and only for the purpose
of giving validity to this particular act, are hereby re-
pealed; provided, this act shall be confirmed by the Ge-
neral Assembly, after the next election, as the form of

SEC. 13. And be it enacted, That the aforesaid com-
missioners shall have the authority, and hereby em-
powered and directed, at any time, to pay the full amount
and interest to any person or persons subscribing to said
road, under the ninth section of this act.

SEC. 14. And be it enacted, That the power nnd au-
thority to dispose of the scheme authorised by this net,
shall be, and the same is hereby conferred exclusively
upon the Commissioners of Lotteries appointed by the
Governor of this State, and that the said commissioners,
in making a contract for the right to sell lottery tickets
in the existing lottery grants, shall include the privilege
of selling tickets in scheme authorised by this act.

from his wife Sophia Cramer.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That John P. Cramer, of Frederick county be, and he
is hereby divorced from his wile Sophia Cramer, a vin-
culo matrimonii.
