CHAPTER 119.

An act to change the name of Clement Hill, son of Charles
Hill, of Prince George's County, to Clement Digges
Hill.

Name chan-
ged.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That from and after the passage of this act, the name of
Clement Hill, son of Charles Hill, of Prince George's
county, be and the same is hereby changed to that of
Clement Digges Hill.

CHAPTER 120.

Passed Feb.
12, 1847.

An act supplementary to an act entitled, an act to prevent
Frauds upon the Revenue, in cases therein mentioned,
and to punish the perpetrators.

Warrant may
be amended.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That it shall not be necessary in any warrant
issued or to be issued under this act, or any of the acts
in regard to the lottery system, to insert the particular
act or acts of Assembly violated, or to set out any lotte-
ry ticket, policy or other writing or instrument, and that
every such warrant shall be amended before or on the
trial thereof, in matters of substance, as well as form,
and no continuance or postponement, shall be granted
therefor, unless the purposes of justice require it.

In force from
passage.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act, and the act
to which it is a supplement, together with the act enti-
tled, an act, giving additional powers to the State Lotte-
ry Commissioners, passed at the present session of the
General Assembly shall take effect, and be in full force
from the day of the passage of this act.

CHAPTER 121.

An act to incorporate the Annapolis Division Number
Ten, of the Order of the Sens of Temperance.
