LAWS OF MARYLAND.

CHAP. 100.
Proviso.

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this corporation shall
have power to alter and amend their by-laws at pleasure;
provided, such alteration or amendment does not conflict
or be inconsistent with the constitution and laws of the
United States or of the State of Maryland, or of the
Grand Division of the State of Maryland of the Order of
the Sons of Temperance.

SEC. 5. And be it enacted, That nothing in this act
shall be so construed as to authorise the said corporation
to issue any note, scrip, token, device or other evidence
of debt, to be used as a currency.

Enure for 30
years.

Right reserv-
ed.

SEC. 6. And be it enacted, That this act of incorpora-
tion shall enure for thirty years from its passage, and that
the legislature reserves to itself the right to alter, amend
or repeal at any time this act of incorporation.

Incorporated.

An act to incorporate the Pocahontas Tribe, Number
Three, of the Improved Order of Red Men of the State
of Maryland.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That William H. Ford, William G. Gorsuch,
John L. Booker, James Prurden and L. Bonsal, the
officers and members of the Pocahontas Tribe, Number
Three, of the Improved order of Red Men of the State
of Maryland, and their successors, be and they are
hereby declared to be a community, corporation and
