TENANTS

FOR YEARS OR AT WILL— The pro-

visions of act of Nov. session, 1793, ch.

43, extended to all cases of tenancies,

from year to year, provided notice of six

months in willing be given, etc.

That when the tenant shall give notice

by parol, etc. at least one month before the

expiration of the lease in all cases provid-

ed for by act of 1793, ch. 43, and at six

months, as provided for by the 1st section

of this act, of intention to remove at the

end of that year, and the said landlord shall

prove the said notices by legal testimony,

not necessary for landlords etc. to prove a

written notice to secure the advantage of

act of 1793, ch. 43, to recover possession,

etc. but proof of such notice from tenant

aforesaid, shall entitle, etc.

The provisions of the act of 1845, ch.

209, to provide a summary mode of re-

covering possession of lands, &c. held by

&c, repealed so far as relates to the city

of Baltimore.

THEATRICAL

AND OTHER PUBLIC EXHIBI-

TIONS — Any person or company of

stage players, etc. intended by act of

1841, ch. 194, exhibition for reward, shall

previously to exhibiting in any Co., (Bal-

timore city excepted) to pay to clerk of

the county $30, tor license for the year,

or one dollar for license for each exhi-

bition, provided that all circus riders or

companies, etc. shall pay the licenses now
