authorised when directed to do so, to issue

writs of venditioni exponas in the hands of,

as sheriff, where previous writs, etc. have

been legally returned to, as late sheriff, au-

thorised to complete said writs, etc. and

sale made, etc. to be valid, etc. to be en-

titled to receive poundage fees, etc. and

to collect fees due him, etc. which remain

unsettled, etc. and to perform all acts ne-

cessary, etc. as he could have done had he

remained in the county.
