1845.

teen hundred and forty-three, and which has been duly
proved and recorded in the orphans' court of Carroll
county, be and the. same is hereby made valid and effec-
tual in law and equity in this State, and that the executor,
Mordecai G. Cockey, named in said last will and testa-
ment, shall have lull power and authority as executor un-
det said will, to sell and dispose of the properly named
in said will, and in all respects to carry out the provi-
sions of said will as fully and effectually in law and equi-
ty, as if no doubts to the validity had been entertained as
aforesaid.

An act entitled, an act to repeal the twenty-first and twen-
ty-second sections of the act of eighteen hundred and
one, chapter sixty-three, entitled an act to regulate the
inspection of Tobacco.

10, 1846.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sections twenty-first and twenty-second of an act
entitled, an act to regulate the inspection of tobacco,
passed in the year eighteen hundred and one, chapter
sixty-three, be and the same are hereby repealed.

CHAPTER 398.

Repealed.

An act for the benefit and protection of the Inspector of
Shingles, for the village of Port Deposit, in Cecil
County.

Passed Mar.
10, 1846.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
the lumber inspectors, appointed from, time to time for the
village of Port Deposit, in Cecil county, are hereby pro-
hibited from inspecting or counting any shingles that may
hereafter be brought to the said village for inspection.

Not to inspect
shingles.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the inspector of shingles
now appointed, or which may from time to time hereaf-
ter be appointed, for the said village of Port Deposit, or
his deputy or deputies, be authorised to inspect and count
all shingles of whatever kind or description, which may
be required to be inspected or counted in said village.
