SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That from and after the passage of this act,
it shall and may be lawful for any person or persons citi-
zens of Cecil county, alter having obtained a license, as
hereinafter provided for, to gun for and kill ducks in the
Waters of the Elk river, out of such boats and with such
Run or guns as said person or persons may see proper to
use.

CHAP. 267.
Made lawful.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That it shall be the duty
of the clerk of Cecil county court, upon the application
of any person or persons citizens of this State, and upon
the payment of the sum of ten dollars for the use of the
State, to issue a license to such person or persons, to gun
for ducks in the waters of the Elk river, in such manner
and with such gun or guns as said person or persons
may see proper to use lot the purposes aforesaid, which
said license shall continue for the term of one year, and
be renewed annually as other licenses are.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That all acts and parts of
acts inconsistent with this act, be and the same are here-
by repealed.

An act to incorporate the Agate Harbor Mining Company.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That John Spear Smith, Charles Howard,
William Frick, Richard J. Coxe, A. Hanscom, G. N.
Sanders, Matthew St. Clair Clarke, C. K. Green, and
their associates, successors and assigns, be and they are

hereby created a body corporate and politic by the name
and style of the Agate Harbor Mining Company, and by
that name shall have perpetual succession, and shall be

able and capable in law, to sue and be sued, implead
and be impleaded, answer and be answered in any court
of law or equity; and to make and use a common seal,
and the same to alter and change at pleasure, and to or-
dain and establish such ordinances, by-laws and regula-
tions, as shall be necessary or convenient for conducting
the affairs of the corporation, and not repugnant to law.
