1646.

CHAPTER 245.

An act authorising the Commissioners of Harford County,
to levy a sum of money, at their discretion, to build a
bridge over Winter's Run, at the Ring Factory.

CHAP. 246.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

Maryland, That the commissioners of Harford county,
be and they ate hereby authorised and empowered, in
their discretion, to levy on the assessable property of
said county, a sum of money, not exceeding three hundred
dollars, to build a bridge over Winter's Run, at the
Ring Factory.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That Alexander Norris,
Chaney Hoskins and Daniel M. Cunningham, be and they
are hereby appointed as commissioners to select the best
and most convenient site for said bridge, and when so
selected and located, to return the same to the county
commissioners.

SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That the commissioners be,
and they are hereby authorised, to contract with any
person or persons to build said bridge, and are required
to lake bonds with sufficient security, from any con-
tractor or contractors, for the faithful performance of
the contract, in the usual form.

CHAPTER 246.

Contract to
build bridge.

A supplement to an act, entitled, an act to incorporate the
Maryland Mutual Insurance Company of Baltimore.

WHEREAS, The Maryland Mutual Insurance Company
of Baltimore, which was incorporated by an act passed
at December session, eighteen hundred and forty-three,
chapter two hundred and ninety-seven, has not yet gone
into active operation, but is desirous of doing so; and
whereas, various verbal errors occurred in printing the
charter of said company, as it appears among the acts of
said session, and it is desirable that said errors should be
corrected.
