CHAPTER 225.

3, 1846.

An act to change the names of Underwood Rencher Kelly
and Charles Kelly, infant grand children of Elijah
Williams, to that of Underwood Rencher Williams and
Charles Williams of Somerset County.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the names of Underwood Rencher Kelly and
Charles Kelly, infant grand children of Elijah Williams
of Somerset county, be and the same are hereby changed
to that of Underwood Rencher Williams and Charles
Williams, and by said name they shall hereafter be call-

ed and known, sue and be sued; provided, nothing here-
in contained, shall alter or abridge any legal right to
which said infants might otherwise be entitled; and all
securities, devises ami bequests in their behalf, and nil
estates to which they are or may become entitled by de-
scent, purchase or otherwise, shall rest in them and be
preserved and transmitted as if their names had never
been changed.

CHAPTER 226.

3, 1846.

An act to change the place of holding the election in the
Second Election District in Cecil County, from Old
Town to Chesapeake City, in said County.

Place of hold-
ing election
changed.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,

That the judges of election in the second election dis-
trict in Cecil county, be and are hereby authorised, em-
powered and required to hold the future elections in said
district, in the village of Chesapeake City, instead of
at Old Town, in such house as the said judges of elec-
tion or a majority of them may think proper to select,
any usage, custom or law to the contrary notwithstanding.

CHAPTER 227.

An act authorizing the appointment of an additional Con-
stable for Cambridge district in Dorchester County. ^

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
