SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That in all cases
where any sheriff, coroner or elisor, shall die having in
his hands at the time of his death any writ of ca. sa. and
such sheriff, coroner or elisor, shall have returned said
writ cepi, without any further proceedings being had
thereon, or shall have omitted to make any return to said
writ, then and in that case the plaintiff or plaintiffs shall
be entitled to issue an alias writ of ca. sa. to the sheriff or
other proper officer for the time being, to the same ex-
tent and in the same manner as if said sheriff, coroner or
elisor had not died.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That the commissioners of insolvent debtors for the city
and county of Baltimore, be and they are hereby autho-
rised and directed to rehear the case of Stephen F. Ab-
bott, and in their discretion, grant to him a final discharge
|

re-hear.

from all his debts and liabilities; provided, he will make
to the said commissioners a full surrender of all his pro-
perty, real, personal and mixed, to be applied to the
benefit of his creditors.
