track, Ridge Road Company to erect, &c.

   

board fence nine feet high between the

   

two roads.

road lying within one mile of the Ferry

   

Bridge, for the protection of the travelling

263, entitled, a further supplement to act

   

to revive the 12th, 13th, 14th, and 15th

   

sections of the act passed 1835, ch. 166, to

   

make a turnpike road from west end of

   

Fredericktown to Harper's Ferry, passed

   

1838, ch. 268, repealed, except so much

   

as fixes the place where the gate is to be

   

placed by the Ridge Road.

FREE NEGROES.—So much of the second section of

   

the act of 1831, ch. 323, requiring them

   

before leaving the State to deposit with

   

clerk of the county, &c. a written state-

   

ment of his object in doing so, and inten-

   

tion of returning, repealed.

The provisions of an act passed at the

   

session of 1844, to repeal a part of 2nd

   

section of act of 1831, ch. 323, not to be

   

construed to restrain free people of color

   

from going out and remaining more than

   

30 days, between 1st May and 1st No-

   

vember, if they obtain permit from Or-

   

phan's Court, &c, to be granted on re-

   

commendation of three respectable white

   

persons, &c.
