Passed 4th of
Jan. 1807.
|
WHEREAS a law passed at November session, eighteen hundred and five, entitled, A supple-
ment to an act, entitled, An act to streighten part of the road in Harford county which
leads from Underhill's mill to the city of Baltimore: And whereas commissioners were appointed
by the aforesaid act, authorised to lay out said road, and make return thereof to the levy court
of Harford county, for their rejection or approbation, and the same being rejected by said court,
a petition was thereupon, by sundry inhabitants of said county, preferred to the present general
assembly, praying the said road, as laid out by the commissioners, might be confirmed, and where-
upon a law did pass, confirming the same, and which since appears to have been done to the injury
of, and operating to the prejudice of, a portion of the inhabitants of Harford county; wherefore,
in order to do full justice, and to give each party an opportunity of having the said road fail ly and
properly laid out, and to the best advantage.
