IN THE VALLEY OF THE ANACOSTIA RIVER IN
THE VICINITY OF BLADENSBURG AND ADJACENT
COMMUNITIES IN PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY,
MARYLAND THEREUPON THE STATE ROADS COM-
MISSION IS AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO PAY
OUT OF ITS GENERAL FUNDS SUCH SUMS AS ARE
REQUIRED TO PAY FOR THE COST OF BUILDING
AND RELOCATING COMPLETE ALL STATE HIGH-
WAYS AND BRIDGES WITHIN THE LIMITS OF SUCH
FLOOD CONTROL AND NAVIGATION PROJECTS IN
THE ANACOSTIA RIVER BASIN IN MARYLAND AS
MAY BE APPROVED BY THE FEDERAL GOVERN-
MENT, PROVIDED, HOWEVER, THAT SAID TOTAL
AMOUNT SHALL NOT BE IN EXCESS OF $1, 500, 000.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 48A of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Insur-
ance", sub-title "Life, Accident and Health Insurance",
said new section to be known as Section 156A of said
Article and to follow immediately after Section 156
thereof, providing that an insurer under the provisions
of said sub-title shall give written notice of reason or
reasons when denying any claim under any policy pro-
vided for under said sub-title.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That be and there is added a new section to
Article 48A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951
Edition), title "Insurance", sub-title "Life, Accident and
Health Insurance", said new section to be known as Sec-
