CHAPTER 428
(Senate Bill 386)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 558, 559, 560, 561, 563, 565,
571, 572 and 573 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Prince George's County (1943 Edition), being Article
17 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Electrical Appara-
tus and Wiring", said sections having been amended by
Chapter 776 of the Acts of 1947, and said Section 573
having been amended by Chapter 522 of the Acts of
1951, and to enact Sections 558, 559, 560, 561, 563, 565,
571, 572 and 573 in lieu thereof, said new sections to
stand in the place and stead of the sections so repealed,
re-enacting the provisions of said Chapter 776 of the
Acts of 1947, in order to validate and correct any ques-
tion about the legality of said sections and further
incorporating in said Section 573 the amendment added
thereto by Chapter 522 of the Acts of 1951.
WHEREAS, Chapter 776 of the Acts of 1947 amended
nine sections of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County, said sections relating to electrical appa-
ratus and wiring; and
WHEREAS, some question has been raised about the
validity and legal effect of said Chapter 776, making it
desirable to repeal and re-enact said sections without
change in order to confirm their present validity: and
WHEREAS, at the same time, the amendment to one of
said sections, made by Chapter 522 of the Acts of 1951,
should be incorporated therein; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 558, 559, 560, 561, 563, 565, 571, 572 and
573 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's
County (1943 Edition), being Article 17 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Prince George's
County", sub-title "Electrical Apparatus and Wiring", said
sections having been amended by Chapter 776 of the Acts
of 1947 and said Section 573 having been amended by
