21A. (Wicomico County)

Only one Board of Registry in Wicomico County shall
meet for the purpose of revision pursuant to Section 21 of
this Article. Said Board in Wicomico County shall meet
in the office of the Board of Supervisors of Election for
Wicomico County on the Tuesday, three weeks preceding
a general election, and at no other time or place.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 418
(Senate Bill 274)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
203 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog
Licenses", relating to unlicensed dogs constituting a
private nuisance and certain female dogs.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 203 of Article 56 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Licenses", sub-title "Dog
Licenses", be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

203. Any person may kill any dog which he sees in the
act of pursuing, attacking, wounding or killing any poultry
or livestock, or attacking human beings whether or not
such dog bears the proper license tag required by these
provisions. There shall be no liability on such persons in
damages or otherwise for such killing. [Any unlicensed
dog that enters any field or yard shall constitute a private
nuisance and the owner or tenant of such field or yard,
or other agent or servant, may kill such dog while it is
in the field or yard without liability or responsibility of
