lete and no longer necessary or desirable among the
criminal laws of this State.
WHEREAS, a Commission has been appointed to revise
the criminal laws of this State, in order to remove many
obsolete and out-moded provisions and to make the crim-
inal laws more orderly and more brief; and
WHEREAS, this Commission has recommended the repeal
of a series of laws presently inapplicable and not now nec-
essary; now therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 12 and 13 of Article 27 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Crimes and Pun-
