CHAPTER 359
(House Bill 588)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
sections (a), (c), (d), (e) and (f) of Section 487 of
the Anne Arundel County Code (1947 Edition), being
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Sanitary
Districts", as said sub-sections were amended by Chapter
87 of the Acts of 1950, relating generally to the Sanitary
Districts of Anne Arundel County and to the Commis-
sioners, Secretary-Treasurer, Chief Engineer, and other
personnel of the Commission, and the duties of the Com-
mission and its Secretary-Treasurer.

WHEREAS, By Chapter 151 of the Acts of 1949, Section
487 of the Anne Arundel County Code (1947 Edition),
being Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, title "Anne Arundel County", sub-title "Sanitary
Districts", was repealed and re-enacted; and

WHEREAS, In said repeal and re-enactment, only the first
paragraph was actually re-enacted, the remaining five
paragraphs being inadvertently omitted in the draft of the
legislation; and

WHEREAS, The said omitted paragraphs were re-enacted
by Chapter 87 of the Acts of 1950, and designated as Sec-
tion 487, sub-paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e) and (f),
and some doubt has been expressed as to the validity of
such legislation enacted in the even year session of the
Legislature; and

WHEREAS, By Chapter 553 of the Acts of 1951, sub-
paragraph (b) of Section 487 was repealed and re-enacted;
and

WHEREAS, It is now desired to remove any doubt as to
the status of the various provisions of sub-paragraphs (a),
(c), (d), (e) and (f) of said Section 487, by repealing
and re-enacting the same; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sub-sections (a), (c), (d), (e) and
