rate of Three Thousand Dollars annually, which compensa-
tion shall be paid semi-monthly, and the Supervisors of
Elections in said County shall provide that from time to
time both of the said registrars shall sit in various parts of
the county for the performance of their duties, as a con-
venience to the residents of the several sections of the
county, for which they shall be entitled to receive all neces-
sary traveling expenses, and in election years, within a
reasonable time prior to the closing of the registration
books for primary and general elections, said registrars
shall sit for four days in each, at some convenient location,
during the hours of 1 to 5 P. M. and 6 to 8 P. M., in the
towns of Frostburg, Lonaconing, Westernport and Mount
Savage, AND AT SUCH OTHER LOCATIONS AND FOR
SUCH HOURS AS THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF
ELECTIONS MAY DETERMINE.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 341
(House Bill 505)
AN ACT to authorize and empower the Council of the
City of Takoma Park to borrow upon the faith and
credit of the City of Takoma Park a sum not exceeding
Thirty-five Thousand Dollars ($35,000.00), at a rate of
interest not exceeding 4% and to issue and sell Certifi-
cates of Indebtedness therefor and to provide generally
the terms of said Certificates of Indebtedness and the
terms and manner of sale thereof; to provide that the
proceeds thereof shall be used for the purpose of con-
structing ACQUIRING BY PURCHASE OR CON-
STRUCTION and equipping a Library Building within
the corporate limits of the City of Takoma Park; and to
provide for the payment of such Certificates of Indebted-
ness, both principal and interest, by the levy of taxes
upon all taxable property in the City of Takoma Park.
