SEMBLY OF MARYLAND, THE SAME SHALL TAKE
EFFECT FROM THE DATE OF ITS PASSAGE.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 551 of the Acts of 1951, said
Act legalizing the 1951 Edition of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Cecil County and to legalize the 1953
Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil
County, being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland, compiled and edited by Carl N. Everstine.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Chapter 551 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
Maryland of 1951 be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the 1953 Edi-
tion of the Code of Public Local Laws of Cecil County,
being Article 8 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land, compiled and edited by Carl N. Everstine, be and the
same is hereby legalized. Said Code shall be deemed and
taken in all the Courts of the State and by all Justices of
the Peace and Trial Magistrates of the State and by all
other public officials of the State to be evidence of the
Public Local Laws of Cecil County in existence at the time
of compilation. Said Code shall contain all Public Local
Laws relating to Cecil County in effect at the completion
of the 1953 Session of the General Assembly of Maryland.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the County
Commissioners of Cecil County be and they are hereby
