more County", sub-title "County Commissioners", be and
it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
40. (a) The County Commissioners of Baltimore County
are authorized and empowered to acquire by purchase, gift,
devise, or condemnation any real or leasehold property
needed for any public purpose and the said County Com-
missioners are further authorized and empowered to erect
buildings thereon for any public use.
(b) The County Commissioners of Baltimore County
are authorized and empowered to dispose of any real prop-
erty belonging to the county at public sale, provided the
same is no longer needed for public use.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 51, 52 (a) and 53 of Article 19 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"St. Mary's County", sub-title "County Commissioners",
as said sections were amended by Chapter 205 of the
Acts of 1951, changing the dates as to the preparation of
the County Budget and the tax levy.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Sections 51, 52 (a) and 53 of Article 19
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "St. Mary's County", sub-title "County Com-
missioners", as said sections were enacted by Chapter 205
of the Acts of 1951, be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
51. Every county agency shall submit to the County
Commissioners of St. Mary's County on or before [April
