of a violation of any provisions of any statute relating to
the operation of a motor vehicle or of any injury or dam-
age caused by such person as herein provided, the Depart-
ment shall so certify and every such certification shall be
admissible in any proceeding in any court in like manner
as the original thereof. The Department shall collect for
each such certificate the sum of One Dollar, but no charge
shall be made for any record required or requested by any
court or State department.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 14
(Senate Bill 39)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
6 (e) and 12 of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Justices of the Peace, "
sub-title "Civil Jurisdiction, " providing that Trial Mag-
istrates in Baltimore County shall have exclusive civil
jurisdiction in all cases instituted after June 1, 1953,
and involving amounts not exceeding $300. 00.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 6 (e) and 12 of Article 52 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title "Justices of the
Peace", sub-title "Civil Jurisdiction", be and they are
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
6. (e) [In addition to the jurisdiction hereinbefore
granted in this section, ] Trial Magistrates in Baltimore
County shall, after June 1, [1947] 1953, have [concurrent]
exclusive civil jurisdiction [with the Circuit Court of Bal-
timore County] in all cases [hereinbefore mentioned in
in this section, ] instituted after June 1, [1947] 1953, and
involving amounts not exceeding Three Hundred Dollars
[nor less than One Hundred Dollars].
