to be known as Section 120A and to follow immediately
after Section 120 thereof, and to read as follows:

120A. The County Treasurer shall pay annually that
portion of the general funds of Garrett Bounty accruing in
each year from the proceeds of the additional marriage
license fee, as provided by Section 14 of Article 62 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), to such
organization and in such amounts as hereinafter provided:

(1) Fifteen per cent (15%) of such sum annually to the
Garrett County Historical Society.

(2) Eighty-five per cent (85%) of such annually to the
Ruth Enlow Library in Oakland.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1953.

CHAPTER 195
(House Bill 5)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 36 to 39, inclusive, of Article
19 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition)
title "Comptroller", sub-title "Uniform System of Ac-
counts"; and to repeal and re-enact with amendments,
Sections 40 to 44, inclusive, of said sub-title, to abolish
the Maryland Commission on Uniform Accounts and
coordinate the remaining functions thereof under the
Fiscal Research Bureau, and to extend the field of audit
of local books and accounts.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland,
That Sections 36 to 39, inclusive, of Article 19
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"Comptroller", sub-title "Uniform System of Accounts",
be and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Sections 40 to
44, inclusive of said Article 19, be and the same are hereby
