States", sub-title "Public Buildings and Lands", said
new section to be known as Section 33A and to follow
immediately after Section 33 of said Article, consenting
to the acquisition by the United States of jurisdiction
over certain parcels of land in Montgomery County for
use for a Public Health Service Medical Center pursuant
to Article I, Section 8, Clause 17 of the Constitution of
the United States.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article 96
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1951 Edition), title
"United States", sub-title "Public Buildings and Lands",
said new section to be known as Section 33A and to follow
immediately after Section 33, and to read as follows:

33A. (a) The consent of the State of Maryland is
hereby given in accordance with Article /, Section 8,
Clause 17 of the Constitution of the United States to the
acquisition by the United States for public health purposes
of the following described tract of land lying within Mont-
gomery County:

Beginning at the north-east corner of a concrete monu-
ment set in the intersection of the west line of Rockville
Pike (Wisconsin Avenue) and the south side of Cedar
(Brown's) Lane.

Thence proceeding in a westerly direction along and with
the south side of said Cedar Lane North 70° 25'-20" East
682. 64 feet to a concrete monument; thence North 82°
18'-40" East 626. 57 feet to a concrete monument; thence
North 84° 19'-50" East 121. 77 feet to a concrete monu-
ment; thence North 86° 23'-40" East 872. 49 feet to a
concrete monument; thence North 86° 59'-10" East 259. 17
feet to a (point (North 42, 101. 63; West 27, 198. 01) being
distant North 07° 22'-10" West 5. 47 feet from a concrete
monument; thence continuing from such point in a west-
erly direction along the south side of said Cedar Lane,
South 85° 51'40" West 547. 99 feet to a concrete monu-
ment; thence South 54° 22'-30" West 267. 98 feet to a con-
crete monument; thence South 23° 16'-42" East 22. 12 feet
to a concrete monument; thence South 60° 27'-26" West
53. 19 feet to a concrete monument; thence South 87°
04'-10" West 29. 58 feet to a concrete monument; thence
South 54° 22'-30" West 55. 53 feet to a concrete monument;
thence South 87° 04'-10" West 758. 07 feet to a concrete
monument set at the intersection of the south side of said
Cedar Lane and of the easterly side of Old Georgetown
Road.
