said election, the title of this Act and underneath said title
on separate lines, a square or box to the right of and op-
posite the words "For Proposed Town Charter Revisions",
and a corresponding square or box to the right of and
opposite the words "Against Proposed Town Charter Re-
visions", so that the voters shall be able to designate by a
cross mark in the proper square or box his or her decision
for or against said proposed Town Charter Revisions.
If a majority of the votes cast on said question shall be
"For Proposed Town Charter Revisions", then this Act
shall become effective immediately. If a majority of the
votes cast thereon shall be "Against Proposed Town Char-
ter Revisions", then this Act shall be null and void and of
no effect whatsoever.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for the
immediate preservation of the public health and safety,
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported
by three-fifths of all of the members elected to each of the
two Houses of the General Assembly of Maryland, the same
shall take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
33 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Anne Arundel
County (1947 Edition), being Article 2 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Anne Arundel
County", sub-title "Annapolis", relating to the powers of
the Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Annapolis to re-
quire the cutting of grass, trees and weeds bordering on
or in the vicinity of sidewalks, streets and roadways in
the said town and changing an incorrect reference in
said section.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That Section 33 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Anne Arundel County (1947 Edition), being
Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
