OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN R. REEVES, SECRETARY OF STATE OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section
203 of Article 33 of the Code of Maryland (1947 Edition)
DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That an election was held in the Town of
Brentwood, Prince George's County, Maryland, on June 25,
1951, and at such election an Act known as Chapter 98 of
the Acts of 1951, was submitted to the voters of the said
Town of Brentwood, for their adoption or rejection, under
provisions of Chapter 98 of the Acts of 1951, said Act being:
"An Act authorizing the Mayor and Town Council to
borrow on the credit of the Town such sums of money
not to exceed $15, 000. 00 at any one time for the
purpose of constructing additional building facilities
for use of the Brentwood Volunteer Fire Department
to house their apparatus. "
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 256 votes were cast
in favor of the adoption of said Chapter 98 of the Acts of
1951 and 33 votes were cast against the adoption of the said
Act; and a majority being in favor of the adoption thereof,
it was thereby ratified by the voters of the Town of Brent-
wood.
