ARTICLE XI
Property
POSSESSION:
99. All municipal property, franchises, and funds of
every kind not belonging to or in the possession of the
mayor and councilmen are vested in the City of Frostburg.
ACQUISITION:
100. The City of Frostburg may buy or accept as a gift
any property it deems necessary for any public or municipal
purpose, and may sell, lease, or otherwise dispose of any
property belonging to the city.
CONDEMNATION:
101. The City of Frostburg shall have the power to con-
demn any property, right, or interest, belonging to any per-
son, persons, corporation, or corporations (whether such
corporation be public or private, and whether or not such
property, right, or interest be impressed with a prior public
o quasi public use) for the purpose of making any public
improvement. The manner of procedure in case of any con-
demnation proceeding shall be that established in Article
33A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, title "Eminent
Domain. " By way of enumeration and not limitation, public
improvements shall be construed to include sewers, drains,
disposal plants, water systems, water plants, water and
water courses, rights-of-way, public ways, sidewalks,
public parks, markets, and parking lots.
